Zogby served as a fellow at the Sanders Institute from its founding until 2019, where he is dedicated to transforming our democracy through the research, education, outreach and advancement of bold, progressive ideas and values.
U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom
In September 2013, President Obama appointed Zogby to the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), where he twice served as the commission’s Vice Chair.
Builders for Peace
In 1993, following the signing of the Israeli-Palestinian peace accord in Washington, Zogby was asked by Vice President Al Gore to lead Builders for Peace, a private sector committee to promote U.S. business investment in the West Bank and Gaza.
Democratic National Committee
For the past three decades, Zogby has served in leadership roles in the Democratic National Committee including sixteen years on the executive committee and eleven years as chair of the party’s resolution committee.
